Saturday May 5th

Green Neighborhood 101 at the Sultzer Library with Beyond Today 10-12

Sultzer Library Lincoln and Montrose
Join us at the library as we invite you to learn about and contribute to the Environmental Neighborhood project.

Beyond Today runs a series of conversations about environmentalism called "Green Dinners" These events happen in people's homes to help bring the community together around environmentalism and a desire to prevent global warming. There's been over 30 Green Dinners since last fall. These events aren't on the public calendar since they are in neighborhood homes.

May 5th is our first public version of a green dinner. It's going to be different, but we'll follow the same format, and, if you like it, invite you to host your own green dinner to help this project spread to the block where you live. This is an excellent event for those who are newly concerned about global warming and those who are longtime environmentalists. We hope you'll share this invitation with others who care about the environment and are trying to figure out how to be most effective in their actions.
