Chicago River Day is this Saturday, May 12, 2007. Workday, 9 a.m. 12 noon at Berteau and the river. Theres also a worksite across the river in Horner Park gathering near Montrose bridge.
Afterward volunteers can head upriver to River Park (5100 N. Francisco) for the festival, noon 3 p.m.

Cycling Sisters, 47th. Ward Alderman Schulter and Mayor Daley's Bike Summer 2007 are combining efforts for a FREE public event to enjoy outdoors, meet locals, exchange services, goods and everyday cycling information.
Mayor Daley's bicycling ambassadors and Cycling Sisters will give FREE workshops, demonstrations, sharing tips on Safe Riding, Shop Local by Bike and usage of Bike Trailers. Will share bike related activities especially for women, kids and all the residents of 47th. ward!
This event take place Saturday, May 12th, at Northcenter Town Square on 4100 N. Damen, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. The event will be rescheduled to a later date in case of rain.
