Hello. My name is Maria. I graduated this year from Waters school, and I am part of the media lab, where we make environmental videos. Today is July 31st, 2008. Our school’s environmental renovations have begun. Yesterday, the trucks came to remove the asphalt. The classroom 2006 requested the removal of the asphalt because the students learned that if the rain hits the asphalt it goes into the sewers and pollutes the river. We wanted a more green school because we learned about the river and the ecosystem in our ecology program with Mr. Leki. It’s exiting to finally see this new project begin. We will keep you updated as the project progresses.

Hola mi nombre es Maria; yo me gradue de la escuela Waters, I soy parte the media lab donde hacemos videos acerca del ambiente. Hoy es Julio 31 2008 nuestra renovacion ambiental de la escuela a comensado Ayer vinieron los camiones para remover el cemento. La clase del 2006 pidio que removieran el cemento porque los estudianted aprendieron que si la lluvia calle en el cemento, se va a el drenage y contamina el rio. Queremos una escuela mas verde porque aprendimos acerca de el rio, y nuestro ecosistema en nuestro programa de ecologia, con Mr. Leki. Es muy emosionante que finalmente podamos ver este Nuevo projecto. Los mantendremos imformados, mientras que el projecto progresa.
